Hello everyone,
Can you believe it is summer swim team time already! This year we are having a SWIM TEAM KICK-OFF on Saturday, April 30th at Maryland Farms YMCA from 12 pm- 4 pm.
We hope everyone can stop by sometime between those hours. If you can't make if on Saturday, plan on stopping by anytime this week. If you sign up on or before April 30th, you will receive a $10 discount. On Saturday, April 30th, I will be there and will be handing out a packet with all summer info that I have (meet info, Official Clinics, Championship info, worker list, etc..). Parents, if you would like to pre-order swim team shirts for you or siblings not swimming we will need you to do so on April 30th. Cost of shirt $10 -$12, I will have that by next week. We are planning on a blue tie-dye this year.

If you or anyone you know would like to be a sponsor, please let us know. Sponsorship will be on the back of shirts.

Hello Parents and Swimmers!

Oh yes! I am SOOOO excited about another summer with the MFYMCA
Thoroughbreds. We have many new coaches that are also very excited about
this summer! We hope that if you have ever been involved with the
Thoroughbreds that you will come join us again for another fun filled summer
of fun and swimming.

If you have heard that I am not returning, do not believe it! It is a
vicious, unfounded rumor. Yolanda and I will be returning and along with us,
our new addition to our family, Jayne. She is 4 and doing great.

You can sign up any time at the Y OR you can come to big KICKOFF SIGN UP /
REGISTRATION DAY at the Y on Saturday, April 30 from 12 noon - 4:00 pm. You
can register then, the swim shop will be there for all your swimming needs
(we hope), and we can get our 2011 Summer Thoroughbred season off to an
exciting start.
